Contextualização - O Blog Contabilidade Financeira consolida os números do mercado de trabalho formal do setor contábil, a partir das informações do Caged. Desde que começamos a fazer este acompanhamento, os resultados que medem a relação entre demitidos e admitidos acompanham os números da economia.
Nos últimos meses isto não está ocorrendo. Enquanto na economia o resultado é positivo, ou seja, o número de admitidos é maior que o dos demitidos, o inverso ocorreu no setor contábil. Para uma área que "não existia desemprego" e "sempre haverá espaço para quem quiser trabalhar com contabilidade" os números mostram uma situação preocupante.
Relevância - Desde 2014 somente três meses o número de admitidos foi superior ao de demitidos. A princípio, não é possível afirmar se o comportamento é estrutural ou não.
Notícia boa para contabilidade? Não. O descolamento do comportamento da economia é preocupante, pois pode revelar uma mudança estrutural no setor, com menor número de vagas nos próximos anos.
Desdobramentos - Pelos números dos anos anteriores, a recuperação só deverá ocorrer no último trimestre do ano, talvez em novembro.

Tencent obteve uma receita trimestral de 8,4 bilhões de dólares, com lucro de 3,3 bilhões. A ação já aumentou 70% desde janeiro. Seu principal produto é o WeChat e o mercado é o chinês.

Entretanto, conforme relata o Quartz, os resultados da empresa são nebulosos. Não se sabe se tem gerado caixa (no passado, provavelmente pouco) e outros detalhes relevantes.
